From Düsseldorf Airport

Take public transportation (S-Bahn, S7 or S1) to "Hauptbahnhof Düsseldorf" (central railway station).

From Hauptbahnhof

Use exit "Konrad-Adenauer-Platz" by directing towards track 1 and go to the tramway station. The tramway number 707 leaves any 10 minutes from platform no. 7 to "Universität-Ost". It takes about 20 minutes until you reach the terminal station "Universität-Ost". Go straight from the terminal station and at the fork follow the right turn of the street to the university. Take the second way on the left. After about 75m the entrance to building 26.41 is on the left hand side.

By car autobahn A3

At "Autobahnkreuz (intersection) Hilden" (exit 18) turn to the A46, direction Düsseldorf/Neuss. From there on follow the instructions under "from east"

From east: You come on autobahn A46 direction Düsseldorf / Neuss. In the first tunnel (university tunnel) take the exit "Universität", and after about 500 m turn left to "Universität". Follow this road ("Universitätsstraße") about 1.5 km. Turn left (signs "Naturwissenschaften" / "Botanischer Garten"). Pass the barrier on the right hand side to parking deck 27.

From west:

You drive on the autobahn A57 to "Autobahndreieck (junction) Neuss-Süd" (exit 24) and from there you take the A46, direction "Düsseldorf/Wuppertal". Follow the signs "Düsseldorf-Benrath" or "Universität" (always keep right after the bridge over the Rhein, the sign "Universität" may be visable for the first time when you are already leaving the autobahn) to "Universitätsstraße". First turn right finally leads you to parking deck 27. From parking deck walk to the university buildings (follow the signs).
