The availability of raw materials had a strong effect on the history of mankind. Ages such as the Stone Age, the Iron Age, and the Bronze Age should be emphasized. In modern times there has been a jump in development especially due to the invention of polymeric materials. Without these modern plastics, e.g., advanced communication, mobility, the high level health system, energy generation, comfortable domestic environment, as well as highly developed environmental protection would be impossible. As the challenges continually change, an intensive research in synthetic polymeric materials is essential. Therefore, our research group is working on the following subjects.
